Therapeutic Counsellor

We put off even the smallest of goals until we are in the right state of mind. Now is a good time to begin and invest in your future.

Counselling is for anyone who feels that they would like to make a positive change - life is full of challenges and uncertainties some of which can send us off course; this could be an obvious struggle or a feeling of not quite achieving your potential. I work in an integrative humanistic way, acknowledging that one size does not fit all and therefore tailoring the therapy to your individual requirements, this is a talking therapy, supported by research.

I worked for several years for a mental health charity before starting out in private practice. I have a broad background in finance and education, spending time living abroad which has informed my diverse experience.

I have a foundation degree in science for humanistic counselling awarded by Bath Spa University, a diploma in therapeutic counselling, a certificate in counselling studies and a certificate in counselling skills. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a current certificate of proficiency. I am fully insured and committed to regular professional development.

If you're unsure if counselling is suitable for you, we can have a no obligation talk on the phone. Finding a therapist with whom you're comfortable is essential in the process.
